Association (IGI) east Nusa Tenggara Region (NTT) Meky Da Cunha officially

Malaka Region at the DPD IGI Kupang Building, (Monday, 20/06/2022)
The legal basis for the inauguration is contained
in the article of law Number 14 of 2005 concerning Teachers and Lecturers. The
Indonesian Teachers Association (IGI) is a legal entity and has been registered
with the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia, with
the decree number: Sk Depkumkam RI Number AHU-125 AHA.01 06 Of 2009.
The activity was carried out with a double agenda,
namely the inauguration of the Malaka Regional IGI board, and training for
representatives of candidates to be inaugurated.
There are several representatives from several
regions who were also inaugurated by the head of the NTT Region IGI, namely;
Management of IGI Belu Region, Rote Ndao, Kupang Region, Management
of IGI Kupang City.
The Head of the Central IGI, Danang Hidayatullah,
when presenting the PMO material, stated that the Indonesian Teachers
Association (IGI) is an independent professional organization.
"IGI is not involved in any political
activities. IGI was formed solely for the benefit of the community, especially
in the field of education in this case teachers," he said.
The same thing was chanted by the Chairman of IGI
NTT Region, Meky Da Cunha, IGI is an independent professional organization
formed with the principle foundation of sharing and growing together, therefore
it is emphasized not to get carried away by political currents, let alone
become practical political actors.
The Secretary General of the Central IGI, Hibatun
Wafiroh asserted that, being a caretaker is not being an official but being a
servant, not someone sitting in front but serving others including our members.
So sysops are not drainers. The higher our position in the organization means
that our mandate to serve is broader.
Some of the points' made by the Secretary General
of the Central IGI, Hibatun Wafiroh, include:
1. IGI that Recilien are private people who are
recilien.
Recilien it is forged anything, challenged
anything will still rise, fall once rise twice, fall seven times will rise
eight times. Those are the souls of recilien.
2. There are actually 4 types of teachers, namely:
teachers who are smart and willing to learn, teachers who are smart but do not
want to learn, teachers who are not smart but want to learn, and teachers who
are not smart and also do not want to learn,
3. Teachers must be visionary, initiative and
persistent.
4. IGI is a voluntery organization that is
voluntery not profit-oriented but how we want to share and learn together, that
is our passion.
5. How do we stop learning if life alone continues
to provide learning in accordance with the motto of IGI sharing & growing
together, so that we are more harmoniously stepping up to improve competence
together
Wafiroh said, organizing is about how we
contribute not to compete but to collaborate, not about how we intimidate but
how we inspire.
Wafiroh hopes that those who have joined IGI must
become true IGIers, namely together to improve the competence of Indonesian
teachers, he concluded.
The Chairperson of the Malaka Regional IGI,
Aplonia Bete, S. Pd on the occasion said that IGI is a teacher professional
organization that is national, independent, neutral, independent, and impartial
to any political interests while remaining based on pancasila and the
constitution of the unitary state of the Republic of Indonesia with the spirit
of increasing the competence and professionalism of teachers.
"With the existence of IGI in Malacca, it is
not a competitor to other teacher professional organizations, but synergizes
and collaborates and inspires and becomes a forum for honing and improving
teacher competence," she said.
According to Aplonia, the appointed administrators
are not officials but become servants in carrying out the mandate of service to
other teacher friends. Let's join IGI we join hands, we learn together, share
and grow together according to the IGI motto of sharing and growing together.
"As the inaugural IGI regional head in
Malacca Regency, I invite all circles/figures/observers of education to join
hands, work hand in hand and become partners to work together to improve the
competence of teachers in this beloved Rai Malaka," she added.
He hopes that Malacca should not be left behind
from other districts. Malacca children can too. The question is whether malacca
teachers want to get out of the comfort-zone during this time or want to be
smart teachers and willing to learn continuously. This is a question that must
be answered by everyone who works as a teacher. Because IGI is a place for
learning and growing together.
